Liquid Logixx and the DPA is having a get together and you are invited!
A Mixer? A Program? Or an EVENT! On May 6th, from 6 to 10 P.M., Liquid Logixx is hosting a DPA mixer/program on animation and visual effects that you won’t want to miss!! Industry professionals are encouraged to come and mix and mingle while demonstrations are provided. Liquid Logixx is sponsoring this event and providing free drinks and food to all who attend.
A Bunch of Short Guys, MumboJumbo, and a new sponsor, the Oak Cliff Chapter of the Lions Club will be co-sponsoring the event, and it will be loaded with lots of raffle prizes. So come out and have a good time and get some free stuff!

Liquid Logixx was approached by King Hollis to help create an international look to a local campaign for Winstar Casino. We had to make downtown Dallas look like New York and Frisco, TX look like Paris. A shot required a soccer stadium to be full of cheering fans however there where no fans so we created a crowd and composited into the stands. Also we created all the shadow in CGI. 
Liquid Logixx is currently in the process of completing an ad campaign for Digital Realty Trust. This campaign consists of three "webmercials", a fully animated 3d corporate video, and three print ads to coincide with the "webmercials".

Liquid Logixx was approached by John Woosley out of Kansas to help with some effects for his movie, Angel of Music. We ended up doing 10 Matte paintings to be used for some composites. We all got lucky because we where able to use the skills of our friends in California at View Studios. They took the concepts and really brought it to life, as you can see. 
Liquid Logixx would like to extend our congratulations to our friend Kerry Valderrama. The film "Garrison" which Kerry wrote and directed, received the Silver Medal of Artistic Excellence for Best Impact of Music in a Feature Film from the Park City Film Music Festival in 2008.
The Park City Film Music Festival is a new independent film festival, presenting film music competition for both INDIE and studio-sponsored films, a performance showcase for composers with seminars for composers, musicians, songwriters and groups.
The fifth annual Park City Music Film Festival was held in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah, January 17-27, 2008. This is the same time that Sundance and Slamdance are going on, and Liquid Logixx was happy to travel with Kerry and the rest of the "Garrison" crew to partake in the screening of this film.
Texas Instruments needed a corporate video created that illustrated the advantage of their DLP technology in projectors over other filter based projectors. The following is the four mintue animated video that was created for this project.
